Hey, guys!
Sorry for being late! I got too immersed with fixing a bug and forgot to post an update until now QuQ
So, without further ado, here's what I did last week:
- 18 pages programmed in! I'm in the middle of programming a fast-paced scene where you'll have lots of timed menu options--if you continuously make a mistake, you'll get a bad end </3 It's not that hard though! You might even find it funny ><
- Programmed in 4 more expressions for antagonist's normal sprite! I also did some finishing touches for his fighting sprite ^.^
- The usual polishing + fixed the latest bug involving the timed menu options.
Overall, I'm still not quite satisfied with how some scenes turn out--I might have to program all of them first before testing again. But I'll definitely tinker polish them until I can get the right 'feeling'! Or maybe, you can help me with that when the time comes for beta-testing ;)

I'm a little embarassed--I was not very creative when it comes to designing shoes (still is ><; )
I considered showing Guntur's massive tattoo on his back & the 'layers' of their clothes but... nah. I'll save them for you so you can fully enjoy 'stripping' them off later in-game //hammer (Is it too late for me to repent and try to sound modest? I mean, I've shown you the bachelors naked with only towels covering their wohoo areas... but honestly, the story won't be as erotic as I described them x'D)
*cough*
In any case, the programming is doing well! Albeit a little slower than before QAQ
I followed my fiancé's advice and started exercising. On top of that, my mother-in-law-to-be scheduled Spa, Facial, Skincare, Waxing, etc next week.. hopefully I can survive them! Others might think of this as a relaxing bonding time, but it's a challenge for me because I've never cared much about my appearance before. Honestly, in my mind, this Spa/Facial/Skincare are luxuries and why bother if we'll all get old and eventually get wrinkles? The money can be used to pay better things, like the bill, food, save for later for our future child... am I 'weird' for thinking like this?
Welp, either way, it's time to say goodbye to my dream of becoming a potato couch and become healthier x'D
Hopefully, things will change for the better~

Q&A session part 33! There are lots of excellent questions submitted this time so I'll answer 3 of them today! ^.^ If you have any questions for the bachelors, don't hesitate and type away!
1. Does surgery scares you?--by: Sesame seed
Kahlil: *shivers* "Definitely! Doesn't that mean they'll cut you open?"
Arya: "Scaredy cat."
Kahlil: "...!"
Arya: "Like it or not, some diseases need to be treated with surgery or you won't get better."
Arya: "As long you trust the doctor and he's skilled, there's nothing to be afraid of... even though it's as expensive as fuck."
Guntur: "Pfft--true."
Guntur: "It's okay to be scared though. Going under a knife is scary for most, but the truth is you'll be sleeping the entire time so you won't feel anything."
Kahlil: "I see..." *shot Guntur a knowing look before looking away*
2. How will the boys respond to people saying "Oh, dayuuuum, you're hot" to them? --by: PangHerHeart
Guntur: "I'll wink at them. Compliments are always welcome."
Kahlil: "I'll say they have great taste! It's not a sin to appreciate beauty!"
Arya: "Oh sure, you're beautiful alright."
Kahlil: "Why, thank you Ar--"
*Kahlil realised something*
Kahlil: "--Hey wait a minute! You can't see!"
Arya: "Exactly."
3. What kind of wedding would they like?--by: owo
Guntur: "Eh... I don't know much about it so I'll let the ladies decide (meaning; wife-to-be and mother-in-law-to-be)
Kahlil: "Oh don't even start--there's much to prepare for a wedding!"
Kahlil: "It's a once in a lifetime event so I'll definitely get involved. Slowly but surely, one by one, I'll plan it with my loved one."
*Kahlil continues to ramble, leaving Arya to answer last*
Arya: "Less is more. Nothing too extravagant. It's should be a private, personal, intimate event."
Arya: "That is... if I ever get married."

I cant believe you're almost halfway finished with the pages, Congratz! And yes, I can relate to finding all that spa stuff tedious. As long as you have a healthy diet and lifestyle you wont have to pay so much for beauty products or at least thats what I think. Hi SweetCiel! Just saw the update and wanted to say hi, lol. Hm, it seems like those traditional types of people fuss more about appearances and aging, but it is what it is. It does occasionally sound annoying to deal with though, lol.
Clothing and everything for games and otherwise, I don't know how you artists do it! It's really shocking that people can spend so much time on shoes and clothing, but the end results really do make all the effort worth it. Everyone in Nusantara: The Winged Ones had really compelling designs, even Tamara's "normal" modern wear, and all the mains in this game do too (though I can't get over Mitra's design, lol). Whether you think the shoes or such are not the most creative or the best, I think we'll like them nonetheless and know you put as much effort into the art and game as you could.
As always, it's really nice to see updates even when I'm not completely in the loop when it comes to this Nusantara game, lol.
As for questions, what I'm really curious about is how you create your progress screenshots with "xx/xxx pages", as well as how you tackle making dialogue natural and describing what is happening to characters and telling story events without just showing a CG and calling it a day. Though this isn't a question for the characters, I'm still interested in your answer. Hopefully, this question has not been asked yet and is not too inconvenient to answer.

Yeah, it is what it is :'3 we'll just have to go with the flow and hopefully, the process will be more fun than we thought it'd be~
And yup! I put a lot of thoughts on their clothes, but sometimes, I regret putting so much detail because making the CG will be harder then x'D
*I haven't learned from my mistakes tho. Bermuda's clothes is a lot harder to draw than Winged Ones rofl* Still! You're right, they're worth it in the end and I'm glad to hear you like them ^///^
As for your questions:
- The xx/xx pages are from Microsoft Word! Just look at the small bar at the bottom, it should show you the total page you've written and at what page you are -^.^)/
- How to make a dialogue feel natural? This is... a little hard to explain, but basically, read, Read, and READ! There's no such thing as reading too much novels/fanfics! I often went to novel updates/fanfiction/archive of our own, and look for the ones with most favourites/reviews. When you enjoy reading something, it'll also enrich your grammar OuO)b
- For me, a good read is when you can't stop reading it/when a scene gives the 'right feeling', be it happiness, sadness, excitement, despair, etc/makes you smile like an idiot in the middle of the night x'D
Whenever I find a great quote/great grammar use, I'd also screenshot it and save it for later whenever I encounter a writer's block.
I also google a lot for synonyms or antonyms--I often forget the specific word used for when we feel... blabla... or to avoid repetitive use of the same word. Example: the synonyms for feeling 'comfortable' could be 'pleasant', 'warm feeling', 'sweetness trickled into my heart', etc... you get the idea <3
When I'm programming, I often went back to 'polish' my sentences like that :'3 no matter how small, it'll enrich your story!

actually, I can relate, I never really put much effort into my skincare and that stuff until a month ago. haha, I thought my mom would finally stop dropping rude comments here and there like "omg, when are you going to fix that face of yours!" BOI I WAS WRONG! XD LMAO
she legit say things like "I see you're finally taking care of yourself, you were so ugly before" ROFL
I hope you don't feel too pressured or stressed from preparing for the wedding, and oh-
you're not getting ahead of yourself thinking about kids, eyyyy *insert smirk*
But if you think about it, it's an opportunity to bond with your mother-in-law! and you will feel better about yourself after you do skincare or take care of yourself, it's just a nice feeling! also, I have a quick question for you! Do you also use these rough scrubbers to scrub your skin? it takes off the dead skin and kinda hurts (for me) tbh. *sigh* Grammarly correcting my mistakes.

It wouldn't hurt to take a break this way you don't get stressed and overwhelmed! :D

Hey no dude, you're not slow at all!!! You're doing this by yourself, and meanwhile, a lot of game devs with entire staffs don't even update in months (even years?!).
