Hi, guys! What's up? 
I'm finally in control of my gaming addiction and made a really good progress last week! 😂 

You know that I'm working on a background that is temporarily named Red Lantern Street, right? 
So ErdaEnos and I made some research last week. Turns  out that Red Lantern (or more specifically, lanterns made with paper) didn't exist in Indonesia until a much later timeline. We only have oil lamps that looks like a shallow bowl back then so I can't use lanterns to indicate suggestive themes like they did in Chinese. ErdaEnos made some suggestions and then it clicked. I decided to change the Red Lanterns with... Red Janurs! Effectively renaming Red Lantern Street into Red Janur Street!

Janur refers to young, light colored palm leaves. Yellow Janurs are commonly used as crafts and decorations, a significant element in traditional ceremonies, especially weddings. Janur is often associated with purity, happiness, and good fortune... but in my case, Red Janurs will have suggestive themes/meaning that only adults will understand. It's a subtle hint of what's truly happening on that street or should I say, secret transactions happening behind a closed door and painted smiles? 

...I'm doing my best not to give out spoiler lol. I hope I'm doing a decent job explaining this ^^; but no worries! I will include more information in the Mini Encyclopedia later!

Anyways, the Background itself is doing great! I'm done drawing the buildings, all that's left is for me to color the rocky road, grass, foliages, add some worn-out elements, and polish the textures! Here's a small sneak peek for you:

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out -^.^)/ if things go well, I think I can finish this background this week!
