UPDATE 19/4/2021!

Hi, guys! What's up?
I hope you guys had a fun and productive week!

I have a lot to talk about today so without further ado, let's get on with it!

- 19 pages programmed in! Not bad, but there's going to be lots of polishing in the future. I can already imagine my proofreader's face when she sees this mess :'))

I really admire k-drama scriptwriters sometimes. Their storytelling skill is completely on another level. They're able to write complicated circumstances AND explain them in an easy-to-understand way! I need this! D:

- Made more expressions for the important side characters (a new set of Surprised eyes + Shouting mouth)

- Polished the BGMs and SFXs! Currently, I'm in a dilemma over a background music I used for the 'big reveal'. You know... that moment when the Antagonist's identity is revealed?

Originally, I was planning to use a BGM created by Kevin MacLeod:

But then I found out that this BGM is already used in another otome game titled 'Demonheart'
Can't blame them for having great taste! It's really hard to find another music with the same 'feeling'/'impact'.

The problem is: Will you remember Demonheart when you hear this music? I don't want you getting distracted during the 'big reveal' :S
Am I overthinking again?

Last but not least, I want to thank you all for sharing your thoughts concerning the future of my games! *bows* m(_ _)m
It was a close call but I see more people are leaning towards 'complete release/all at once' rather than 'releasing in routes'. Personally, I'm also leaning towards 'complete release'. I can do quality control easier and polishing won't be a problem.

However, if I you want me to, I can try release a game in routes.
Please take note that due to my limited programming skills, I will treat them as different games with completely different stories.

I'll be out of my comfort zone but if it's for you guys, I don't mind trying something new in order to lessen your burden (a.k.a waiting time). Really, I can't say this enough, but I'm really grateful with how patient you guys have been with me QuQ

In any case, let's focus on finishing Bermuda first.
Afterwards, I will create a voting event for my next game. I already have something in mind and it could be released either way. Be it 'all at once' or 'in routes'.

Who knows? Maybe you'll change your mind by then ;)
xoxo,

SweetChiel

Hi!! I don't think that you should worry about sharing bgm with other games, I've seen games share bgm and background images and it never bothers me! (Which I totally understand because drawing backgrounds is something I always avoid -u-") If the music is appropriate for the scene then have feel free to use it :)

I haven't watching k-dramas in so long, but I enjoyed Prison Playbook! It's definitely more of a drama than a romance one and it was pretty long, but it's one of favorite stories I've ever watched in a show :) I really should rewatch it ^-^

I hope you're getting enough rest with all this productivity! Have a good day! ^u^

Hi, ro-ses!
Thank you for the understanding! Yup, I'm sure Kevin MacLeod contributes to a lot of game developers out there--his library is huge! And he got great taste in music! If you ever want to look for a wide variety of music, I definitely recommend him OuO)b

Oooh, Prison Playbook? *googled it and added it to my bookmarks*
Yeah, imo Korea is the master when it comes to writing dramas x'D they can even make cliches interesting/very engaging! I'll watch it later when I have some free time~

You too! While it's important to be productive, our health takes priority!
Take care and as always, thanks for dropping by and supporting me >////<

Hey SweetChiel! :)

Oh, that's an ominous/sinister soundtrack. Reminds me a little about vampires. O.o

I know the game "Demonheart", but I have not played it yet. Therefore, I can not draw any comparison.

Normally it does not bothers me when I recognize the soundtrack. I will then be totally immersed in your story and do not think about other stories. And if the soundtrack fits you, then use it. ;)

Oh wow ... you already have the idea for your next game! That's great and admirable. I wish me a little more creativity for myself! XD

Oh and when I read K-drama, I had to think of this (link to a graphic with a comparison to Anime, Amercian Movie and Korean Drama). That's one of the reasons why K-dramas are sometimes a little too much for me. XD

Until next time!

Hi, Yanonako!
Phew, glad to hear the soundtrack won't bother you! I sometimes notice these little things... which leads to overthinking >///<

When you read countless of novels/mangas, you'll inevitably get a few ideas~ I'm sure you got a few as well, from the silly ones to the serious ones :'3 the sky is the limit!

I can't seem to open the link O_O; it downloaded something and I can't open it? rofl but I think I get the idea why k-drama is a bit too much for you x'D

Thanks again for dropping by <3
I'm always happy to read your comments -^.^)/

Hi SweetChiel! :)

no problem. And overthinking is helpful, but do not exaggerate! ;)

Yes, probably, but "ideas" is only the first step. Implementing the second, which is never easy. In addition, I'm pretty picky with everything. XD

O.O You can't open the link?! Me neither! (Why?!)

Since I want you to see it, here's the picture again. ;)

Wow, that's a lot of programming! :) You're doing well~~

I have one question for you (not the boys):

Is this game going to be a paid game? meaning I'll have to purchase it? if it is, ill see if I can beg my mom to let me set up a PayPal acc TwT

The BGM sounds really cool tho, kinda gives me an ominous vibe! 'w'

Darn it, Grammarly is trying to correct my 'see' into 'sees' D:

Stay safe! Don't forget to eat, we need you healthy! TwT

Hugs~~

Hi, Sesame seed!
Thanks for dropping by! I'm glad to hear you like the BGM ^///^

As for your question:
Yes, only Winged Ones is free-to-play. Bermuda is a commercial/paid game~
But the good news is you can purchase the 'Early Bird' pack which is only 10$! OuO)b Just click on the big yellow button 'Pledge with Paypal' displayed at the game page and you'll be directed to my wix site!

And you too! Please take care and don't skip your meals!
You need to stay healthy so you can play/read lots of visual novels x'D
