UPDATE 14/6/2021!

Morning, guys! What's up?
I've been a bit overwhelmed these days--between PreWedding preps, work, and self-care :'3

My mom and I are also thinking about making a visit to the hospital to do an overall health test/blood test before taking a covid vaccine.
You see, the church have this a new requirement; if you want to get married, make sure to bring your 'vaccine proof'. So yup, another thing to add to the to-do-list~

The final battle programming is a bit on the slow side though Q_Q

- 12 pages programmed in! I went back and forth quite often between this and the prerequisite first battle. I mean, I need to take care not to let the first battle overshadow the climax, right? I'm also feeling a bit rusty but honestly, I took too much time on making new attack variations and testing the animation ^^;

- Making 2 new attack variations, 1 new antagonist sprite variation, & 1 new Guntur fighting sprite variation.
The variation I speak of is not anything major. I mainly use a new color to match the mood/story or add blood effects on the sprite.

I can't show you the blood effects, but I can show you an example about what the attack variations looks like as this week's sneak peek OuO

For those who have played Winged Ones, I'm sure you're familiar with this x'D
These are a few of the many attack effects I used for Bermuda. Some are even only used once OTL

If you're wondering what's so hard about programming these visual effects, well... I need to make sure they sync with the fighting sprites ^^;
For example, if Guntur is facing right, I must make sure he punches to the right. It doesn't make sense if he's facing right and the punch went left, right? There are also other considerations like the timing, blow variations (mixing up straight lines with curved ones), and for the enemy's attacks, I must use the ones that glows red (to make it easier to differ).

Okay, I'll stop here before I begin to ramble about technical things x'D
but yeah, I have A LOT of these and I sometimes find myself with a headache lol

Welp, that's it for now and take care! Don't skip your meals and wash your hands often!
Thanks again for reading and see you next week~
xoxo,

SweetChiel

Hi, Chiel! Thank you for the hard work!

I will be quick because I don't really have something to say except that I will finally finish my review tomorrow lol Why is it so long? That's because I am having a writer's block (hahahaha! Writer's block for a game demo review? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Well, when you see it, you will know what I mean...) You can read it whenever you are available.

I have read your recent updates for your health, so sleep, eat, drink healthily now! I prolly should start sleep earlier too... Why is the night so quiet and peaceful and comfortable for solitude? Is it such a sin to be a night owl? ;-; Is there any way to simulate the night vibe in the mornings? T_T

Edit: I have finally posted the review of the demo on the game's main page ^0^

I missed this one! ><
lol, PangHerHeart! I didn't know you can have a writer's block when writing a review! x'D You've done a great job tho so you can rest easy now <3

And IKR?! It's always so peaceful at night and inspiration always hits me when it's past midnight ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm not a morning person. At all. I can be very grumpy and hiss like a bristling cat during the day :'))

But I have to admit, sleeping early has its perks; my head is not as heavy and I'm not sleepy during midday x'D

Thank you for being here and I hope you also take care of yourself!
xoxo,
