Hey, guys! What's up?
How did your week go? I got a little distracted... okay, more than 'a little' :'D
Here's how it went: I was browsing my facebook as usual when something caught my interest--Monster Hunter Stories 2. You see, I'm an avid fan of Monster Rancher series. Taming monsters fascinates me and I thought Monster Hunter is just a JRPG where you hunt monsters...BUT! Imagine my surprise when I found out you can tame monsters (they call it Monstie in the game) by stealing eggs from the dens!
The first game was released 4 years ago and the 2nd game was release just 4 weeks ago... and I... I-I made the mistake of trying to play the first game :') Needless to say, I got immersed in it and I degenerated into an egg robber for 3-4 days straight... I never thought stealing eggs can be so fun and addictive x_x
Because of this I wasn't able to make much progress with Bermuda QAQ
I'm still in the middle of fine-tuning the last few scenes, but 10 pages is still progress, right? ><
I should be 'growing out' of my gaming tendencies, but it's not going well :'D I'm even considering to ask for Monster Hunter Stories 2 for my birthday present OTL
I... I'll do my best to get out of this 'slump' and get back to work!
I have a list of things I have to do and oh boy, there's a lot:
- Chapter 6's CGs + Epilogue
- New Outfit for Maya + Bachelors
- Credits list
- Mini-Encyclopedia (Which I haven't touched. At all)
For this week, I'm planning to slowly polish Bermuda and start making sketches for chapter 6's CGs!
Wish me luck, guys! I'll need all the help I can :'D

Kahlil:
Maya: *whispers* "This is my swamp."
Kahlil: "...It never gets ogre, but need I remind you that this is OUR swamp now?"
Maya: "Eeep! Hahahaha!"
*the cuddle turns into a tickling session. once they're tired, they resume cuddling*

Hello Chiel, thank you for the hard work! Without fail I have stated that for the opening for all of my responses, because it is a fact. You basically employ yourself, but please I think you should have a day off. And on that day off, you can do your hobbies. I mean, my hobby is watching Youtube, collecting books, playing story-focused games, and listening to music. If they are taken away from me, I don't think I can function. Even if your job right now is your passion and hobby, it is great to refresh yourself with some other games. Moreover, because your job involves a creative mind, it is good to expose yourself to creativity from great minds, you know?
This weekly update may have been pressuring you to be productive because all people who are waiting can read it and... what, judge your productivity? But I don't think your community minds a day-off... Please slack off a bit...

The weekly update is more like a drive for me to stay motivated than a pressure though~ so you don't have to worry about that, but still, thank you for being so considerate ^\\\^ I'm really grateful for your attention and for being in your care <3
With that aside, LOL I also reacted like Guntur at first 😂 I had to Google it before I understand what is going on!

Haha, you sound really passionate about gaming, but I agree, there's no such things as growing up from gaming, its all about balance, lmao
You still found time to work amongst a new video game obsession which is so impressive to me XD I'm so bad at multitasking LMAO I remember (and miss! T-T) playing Dragon Age for hours on end, no one could bother me :') Don't feel guilty for having fun with a game you've discovered, your daily life should be filled with different activities ! ^u^
The encyclopedia was my favorite thing to read in Winged Ones, it'll be fun to see what new terms and concepts I'll learn :>

I'm also glad to hear you like the mini encyclopedia! This time, in addition to Indonesian Culture, there will be some fun facts about which medieval period I used as reference for the Spring Village. I don't think it will be very accurate so I hope you'll be forgiving x'D of course, I welcome any revision/opinion in this matter!

Historical accuracy is fun but of course making up stuff/revising facts to better fit the narrative is just as fun!
I want to say that it’s probably Guntur bc I understand the annoyance of someone nitpicking food that you’ve cooked for them -u-“ but I’m gonna overthink it here and make a case for both Khalil and Arya LOL like with Khalil it’s annoying to be adventurous and try different food but your companion won’t try it with you :( orrr Arya seems like a simple guy who will eat any food when offered but for a companion to refuse that can be a bother? Cant wait to find out XD
