Update 4/4/2022

Hi, guys! How did your week go?

First of all, I'd like to thank my patrons from Patreon who have decided to stay and contributed to the renovation of my roof *bows* m(_ _)m
My mom and I are really grateful and appreciate all the helping hands <3 We also feel a lot better now because the creepy guy from Party A didn't show his face again--hopefully it will stay this way.

On top of that, the workers are doing really well and the progress are looking optimistic! A part of the roof is finished! One of the workers kindly took a photo to show it to us and it looks great!

If things go smoothly, we'll definitely finish the renovation next week or maybe even ahead of the schedule! OuO)b

On another note, Kiara's skin problem (fungi infection) still needs more time to heal--with the renovation going, it was hard for us to bathe her Q_Q is coconut oil really working? It's a little hard to see whether it's healing or not, I mean the skin is still black-ish and the hair around the infected area is still a bit sparse. I've also tried other spray medicine but again, it's hard to tell *sigh*

In any case, I'll keep you updated! Thanks again for reading and for your everlasting support \(>///<)/
Cheers and I hope you guys are all well over there~
xoxo,

SweetChiel

Today's dose of cuteness features a photo from 4 years ago~

You know, I've always been in denial about Kiara's overweight problem... 'It's all fur! She's not fat!' I said while inserting my index finger FULLY into the fur on her neck. She's a wooly type so I thought everything is normal--but when I look at this photo, it's clear that Kiara needs to lose weight x'D

My mom said it's because we've spayed her so she's prone to gaining weight. Is that true?

Meanwhile, Juno is still as goofy as ever lol

Glad to hear things are better there now...! I think I have never seen that kind of a roof... Tile? With a texture? I don't know what that is called, English isn't my first language haha.

Yeah, neutered dogs do tend to gain weight due to a lack of certain hormones (I mean, we too, as we all age). Make sure your friend has a little extra time to play fetch and walk, and perhaps consider changing her rations. There are a few formulated towards neutered dogs that have a lower amounts of carbs and fats. It helps them to keep within healthy weight range. :)

Ah... I don't know about coconut oil being good for fungi, but I have personal experience with clove oil. It works very well. And yeah, it can take awhile (like, a week) for results to show. Fungal infections are a pain to heal. Even after it looks good, make sure to keep the area clean and keep applying medication for another month or so, to make sure all the spores are really gone. It may break out again otherwise.

Hi, Sice~
The tile is imported from Japan through my fiance', it's a really strong plastic type, we can step on it, put all our body weight on it and it won't break x'D

Yes, the problem is I don't have time nor the strength to walk her lol--I kinda neglected training their walking skill so when we're out, they're out of control :'D they pulled me really hard sometimes and my hand would blister *sad & regrets*

Clove oil! *brb writes it down*
At this point, I'm willing to try anything Q_Q she's been sick for a long time now, staring from her tail then spreads to her body. Juno is showing the same signs so I'm really worried--thanks for the tip!

Thank you for the support and for being here, DimaLink! I really appreciate that >///<

Looking great! Glad to see the roof covered and running.

Indeed, neutered doggos tend to gain weight. The energy spent to maintain their sex hormones are no loner required, meaning their overall basal metabolic rate are reduced. This is why even with the same food intake fur balls are prone get chubby.

Thanks, violacrest!
It's also a relief that the roof is not leaking anymore QuQ
And thank you for taking the time to explain why neutered doggos tend to gain weight! I didn't know the specific until you tell me :'3
