Morning, guys! What's up?
I'm sorry for the late update, I was really busy yesterday until late at night & went to bed right after I arrived home ^^;
There are good news and bad news tho, let's start with the good news!
1. I'm finished with the "Sketch of Love" tier rewards & sent them to your respective emails~ please check & pm me/comment below if you haven't received it!
2. I've also sent the OST reward to your emails! I almost forgot about it >_< but yes, I've finally fulfilled all of the Indiegogo pledges! *happy dance* some emails failed to send though, my Gmail said the receiver's email no longer existed...? Someone with email called "ladykokkuri@gmail.com", if you're reading this, please pm/comment below! I failed to send to you for several times now because your inbox is full!
Now onto the bad news:
- I found out that "Nusantara: Legend of the Winged Ones" actually got pirated by IGG-Games ^^; they seem to have multiple websites & while I'm flattered, I'm beginning to re-think whether it's a good idea to upload Bermuda to Steam or not... I did my research and it seems they won't/can't pirate games from itch.io.
I mean, there are lots of work in order I can upload to Steam; the posters, banners, the achievement coding & images, not to mention the tests I need to do... and honestly, Bermuda is doing better than I thought in itch.io, so I'm seriously considering to drop the idea to upload to steam & just start planning/working on my next project :') what do you think?
I will be waiting for your replies! In the meantime, I want to take this week off, please! My office is giving me a headache and I need to catch up with my beauty sleep XD seriously though, I'm more tired mentally than physically. I'm not sure what I have to do in order to get back up to top shape, hopefully I'll be in a better shape next week ~

Sadly, I also can buy games only via Steam for now due to payment restrictions, and I'm looking forward for a Steam release (following you for many years, love the first game, played it on itch.io and on Steam afterwards). And it's more convenient - I have some games on itch.io, that afterwards came to Steam (at that time it was possible to pay through itch.io) - if I had a choice at the moment, I would've bought it there.
So I'm going against my one wishes, but...But those are very valid concerns - and why do yourself a disservice (a lot of work for potentionall risks)? I dunno if there's a bigger market on Steam than on itch.io for VNs, maybe? Many of my gamer friends use exclusive steam/gog/epic/ea and dont even know about itch.io)) but everybody playing VNs knows this platform. So maybe do max sales here and then go on Steam?
But anyways I'm glad the game is out, it's a great milestone! Any choice you make - looking forward to play, either on Steam, or is I'll be able someday to purchase here!
Wow pirates and the nerve of them while the game is completely free ckckck steam release lah kak since I saw my dev friend did the same thing for their commercial game 👍 (so I can support the game here and there hehehe)
lol, yes the irony is the game is originally free-to-play x'D
sadly, it also means commercial oone can also be pirated. I suppose the risk of piracy will always be there.

Sadly I can only buy games on Steam for now, so of course I want a release on that platform. But in the end it's your decision. Do what's best for you!

I think you should still continue with the steam release. As others have pointed out, it would help reach a larger number of people. Unfortunately piracy is just something that comes with the territory and basically impossible to completely stamp out. I'm am glad to hear that it's doing well on itch though!

I'm sorry to hear the negative news about the rip of your other game. Uploading to steam seems to have many difficulties for devs based off other logs I've read, but my pc often works best with steam downloads. I wish you the best with whichever route you choose. I hope you will be able to rest soon, busy times can be rough. Wish you a good day

And I, oop. I was waiting for the Steam release xD It sucks that people just steal from indie artists. Indie artists should be off-limits! But Paypal is very inconvenient for me... lol I think I bought a few games here without having to do PayPal in the past tho. Did something change without me knowing x_x
