They're quite head-to-head early on, but Saving Grace pulled through~ Cheers!
For Spawning Season fans, don't worry! This doesn't mean I'll discard it, Spawning Season have a big chance to be my next project! After we're done with Saving Grace, I will put up another voting and Spawning Season will be up there with new story ideas I came up with. If you don't change your mind by then, it'll definitely be picked next time -^.^)/
With that said, I'm a little troubled about what should I show you for the weekly updates?
I mean, the early production involves me struggling with my notebook x_x it's not interesting and it takes quite a long time to develop--I haven't even decided on the setting.
This is important because I can't make a character design until I decide on the setting/world-making.
For now, I can only show you this:
This is a teeny-tiny-sneak peek of the story plot/mindmap for all 4 routes 😂 you can try to read it, but I know you can't lol *cue evil laughter*
they're only the main scenes, I haven't thought of the small scenes yet. Surprisingly enough, making the Bad End is more difficult than the Happy End, I still need more time and inspiration!
I estimate that Saving Grace will be as long as Winged Ones. Definitely shorter than Bermuda, but we'll see.
In any case, I will do my best to polish the story! I will post updates here since I haven't set up a game page for Saving Grace yet. You can comment below and tell me what's your expectation about the world setting though! ^.^)/ fantasy medieval? more western or eastern? more indonesian culture or nah? Because honestly, I'm still 50:50 about the world setting being more western or eastern.

The mind map looks soo cool! Even though I can't read anything on it hehe. I am always interested to see how people plan their stories and make notes and all of that. I do think you can just update us on whatever you want every week! Or maybe you can also switch it up and write an update every two weeks while you are still in the early stages? Not that I don't want to read your updates every week! Not at all, I love seeing your updates weekly! But maybe it would be a nice break for you and give you a bit more time to put into the thought process? Just do whatever you are comfortable with!
I would always love to see more of Indonesian culture considering that I really don't know a lot of it and it makes your visual novels really unique and distinct! But if you want to venture out into newer things, I do have to say that my first thought for saving grace was some kind of Victorian maybe even steampunk-ish setting...? but maybe you could connect more western ideas with Indonesian ones? I am sure you'll figure out something great!

This was awesome. Cool seeing what mind maps look like. As for the setting, if fantasy I am seeing that alternative medieval worlds that bring in architecture from continents that aren't Europe are quite cool. To be honest, I don't really mind which setting you choose, it's cool seeing something new though.

I would like to see more Indonesian culture! I feel like you're the only one make VN world setting based on Indonesian culture. It's already quite rare to see SEAsia otome games around those countries culture/settings, let alone based around their folklore/mythologies.
BUT I do understand if you want to do something different because you did make 2 otome games that set in Indonesia back to back. I'll be surprised that you haven't gotten writer's block.
Ultimately, I think it's up to you, what your mind and imagination can conjure up. If your ideas fits well with the medieval fantasy settings than Indonesian mythologies then go for it. I'll still look forward to it!
