The progress for Saving Grace's main village Background is doing well though!
I finally finished the 4th house and now I can cheat a little! For artists out there, here's a little tips & trick: copy paste the already done base houses, but give them minor differences that has some significance. 

In my case, each house will often have unique symbol on the doorpost. This is based on the Batak Tribe I used as reference. Each symbol (They call it "Gorga") will represents their beliefs/life philosophy. If you think carefully enough, you might be able to guess what tribe lives there! (Can be elf, Komodo, Avian, etc...) But you might found some funny symbol, like this one:

Fun fact! Batak has many symbols/Gorga decorating their houses, one of them is "2 pairs of woman's breasts". I adapted mine into only 1 pair of breasts though 😂 The reason being: I'm too shy and it adds into the mystery. I like to make people keep guessing until they read the encyclopedia! 

Anyways, the Batak tribe have high regards for mothers. The breast symbolize fertility and hopes for newlyweds to have many children. Elders back then used to say blessings like: "We pray that you'll have 17 boys & 18 girls!"

With that said, here's a sneak peek of last week's progress through my shortsighted-eyes!

Still have a long way to go but still a good progress, right?
