Hi, guys! What's up?
How did your week go? Mine was like an uphill hike...

I'm dying over here! The new manager of the project I'm currently at is now wanting me to make painting style GUI! It's not like I can't, but it's exhausting :'D not to mention we have 3 other artists working on it--well, there's 2 of us working on the GUI, but with our different artstyles & the high difficulty of the painting style the manager wants--I can already smell the disaster/conflict haha... I pray that we can get through this.

I've made good progress with Saving Grace's village background though!
- I've finished making & placing all of the houses there, including the palace afar.
- It wasn't planned, but I ended up making the lineart for the Pura Gate :'D

So the Pura Gate I'm talking about is this one from the sketch:

To put it simply: it's a big gate you need to get through if you want to go to the palace. The reference I used is Pura Lempuyang Luhur from Bali. It's very famous, people said it's the highest and oldest architecture ever recorded, going as far as the 8th century. You can learn more about it directly from a tourist guide if you plan to go to Bali, but be warned! You get to climb around 1700 stairs so make sure you have the stamina for it lol.

I try to stay faithful with the real design, but I did simplified it and made some liberties with it >_<; of course, it's not done yet, I plan to have a couple of tall fire braziers. I'll continue this later after I'm done with the village backgrounds!
