Hi, guys! What's up?
Thanks for the much needed rest! I'm still tired, but I was able to refill some of my energy and brainstormed about my next projects! (especially about the bachelors). I wish I can make a poll at itch.io, but we can't, so please comment below whether you prefer idea 1 or 2! >_<
1. Saving Grace
Main Genre: Dark fantasy, Romance, a bit Comedy
MC's name: Grace, a half-blooded elf who turned into a zombie by an old witch who took pity on her. Can't remember much about the past. It seems that she had done some terrible things since the old witch told her not to venture out no matter what. But now that she's gone, Grace is curious and maybe she can try and redeem herself by doing good, instead of doing nothing and wait for death once more.
Bachelor list:
- a depressed Werewolf
- a Prostitute with a quarter blood of fox demon
- a curious-slash-arrogant Dragon
- the Villain
2. Spawning Season
Main Genre: Romance, Fantasy, Comedy, much lighter and shorter than Saving Grace
MC: Elana (Re-nameable), a common Bluefin mermaid that have just come of age. Innocent and just like any other young mermaids, she looks forward to having her first eggs, but first, she must do her best to woo and impress the males. Hopefully, she can find her one, true mate out there.
Bachelor list:
- a grumpy Seahorse Merman
- a scarred Shark Merman
- a mischievous Octopus Merman
- your childhood friend Merman, who mutated and became the most beautiful merman in all 7 seas (or so you thought). He seemed distant and out of reach, but is he?
With that said, I'm planning to have a long vacation at the 2nd half of December until January 2025! That should be more than enough time for me to wait for your votes, right? Honestly, I also feel like the rest I took in between of our updates is not enough anymore x_x I wish there are 48 hours a day instead of 24! There are so many things I want to do and brainstorm but I have so little time and energy! T_T

Both ideas sound really interesting and I'd love to play them both eventually, but I'm honestly personally more drawn to the number 1! I like the romanceable options that you chose for it, and I don't think there's really many stories where the MC is basically a zombie, so it sounds like it would be really fresh and fun! Bonus for all the darker topics, I'm sure you'd develop them quite nicely (≧∇≦)ﾉ

Option 1 is more intriguing to me from the dark plot and LIs' interesting...ness. Different species are really welcome~
That said, if option 2 has NSFW *wink wink* content with that eggs and mate plot, I'd pick it hands down. Though from your description it seems pretty safe. Of course, I understand not every developer is comfortable with creating nsfw stuff, please don't take my opinion too seriously.

Thank you for the update. I hope you have a very nice long rest. What I love about idea 1 is that one of the love interests is a sex worker. That's awesome. 2 has a very cool way to meet the love interests, but as I personally enjoy mcs with more experience, I'd choose 1

I'm a bit biased because I'm not into mermaid trope/story that much
(maybe if it was interspecies/monster x human *whack*)but I like the first idea, I'm already curious on Grace's character and the witch so far. I'm a big fan of angst with a happy ending and conflicts within the story and between characters etc, I feel like Saving Grace would be my cup of tea.I love both but 2. spawning season is hitting a genre you only see once every few years. :)

My vote is for idea 1 (though in fairness I'm not into mermaid things in general). I'm curious how turning someone into a zombie is taking PITY on them
